Responsibilities:
  • The job actively supports the local Downstream Controller in the area of financial controls for all the Downstream legal entities in the country:
  • To design, develop and maintain structures for monitoring controls and compliance for Downstream and other businesses
  • To design and roll out financial control framework for all the new businesses to address the control needs for rapid business growth opportunity.
  • To be local subject matter expert and advisor for Assurance and Financial controls
  • Lead regular risk assessment at business level, re-design controls to deal with the risks identified through working with Downstream business leaders (Retail, Lubricants, Commercial Fuel, New Business Development, Supply, Distribution, Bitumen, Marine) and Business finance managers.
  • To manage key relationship with internal and external parties and is key interface with the local external auditors for Downstream financial controls framework.
  • Act as focal point to prepare local Operating Unit for effective and efficient Shell Internal Audits.
  • Local Central Bank of Indonesia liaison focal
  • Handle business initiatives and other projects as and when required.
  • Act as Country Local Records Manager to ensure the full compliance with Group Records Management Standard.
Requirements:
  • Possess a minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Accountancy or related fields
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience in finance control, accounting operations and/or business/finance analyst capacity, preferably within Oil & Gas, Multinational Company or Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) industries
  • Exposure to SAP is an advantage
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision, but have structured approach to work, thus allowing transparency of information and work status
  • Good communications skill and has the ability to engage with senior business leaders
