Clerical Position Japan Embassy Jakarta

The Mission of Japan to ASEAN in Jakarta is recruiting 1 (one) local staff for "clerical position". Anyone who is eligible is welcome to apply by sending the necessary documents to the e-mail address below not later than 6 March 2013.

Recruitment of a Clerk (Working in Japanese)

Job Specifications
  • Translating documents from Japanese to English
  • Arranging appointments, reservations, events
  • Assist the composing of presentation materials
  •  Other administration and clerical work
Number of vacancy: 1 (one)

Qualification Requirements
  • Indonesian citizen or permanent resident of Indonesia.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (capable of translating documents from Japanese to English)
  •  College-educated or higher qualification holders
  • Capable of using computers (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
Terms of Employment
  • Working venue is the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, Jl. M.H. Thamrin, No. 24, Jakarta 10350
  • Basic working hours are 5 days per week, within 40 hoursin a month (from 08:15 to 16:00, lunch break: 12:30 – 13:15)
  •  Salary will be decided based on the candidate’s experiences and certain standards in Jakarta and will be paid in IDR which will be exchanged from USD.
  • Can start working immediately after the contract is signed.

Selection Process
After receiving application documents by e-mail, the Mission will select the candidates in the following procedures;
  • Those who pass the initial document screening will be invited to come to the Mission for a written test (document preparation in English) and an interview.
  • Considering the results of document screening and of the written test/interview, the Mission will select 1 (one) person who is considered appropriate to bea local staff of the Mission.
Please note that the Mission of Japan will NOT contact those who cannot pass the initial document screening. The Mission will inform those who cannot pass the written test/interview of the result by email or by telephone.
