Citilink is a part of Garuda Indonesia Persero. The company provides a low-cost air service to many exciting destinations in Indonesia. We are a dynamic concept of Garuda Indonesia Citilink Airways.Tanggal July 5, 2012 inaugurated the Water certificate receipt Operation Certificate (AOC) from the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Indonesia. This certificate marks a new era in the management of change Citilink, which had previously been under the management of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk., To be a dynamic and self-management. AOC is a certification issued by the RI Department of Transportation for the official airline companies operating in Indonesia. During this time, as a subsidiary of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk., Citilink operates using AOC-owned Garuda Indonesia. Now, by having its own AOC, Citilink officially become one of Indonesia's independent airline.
The success of getting the AOC, Citilink now has 70 rutedomestik and 16 regional routes. Citilink will not add up to mid-year regional routes depan.Tujuan other new medium that we plan the route of Yogyakarta, Padang, Semarang, Pekanbaru and Sorong.
Citilink this year running a rebranding process. We make it happen by doing branding strategy as a whole, ranging from the new livery, new logo, new aircraft interiors, Sales Office, stewardess uniforms, the system on the website, and a new layout, and supported marketing and communication programs to reach out to the wider community
Now Citilink operates 16 aircraft which is 10 Airbus A320 planes with a capacity of 180 seats, the 6 Boeing 737-300 aircraft with a capacity of 148 seats, and 1 Boeing 737-400 with a capacity of 170 seats. Citilink served 76 frequency of flights to Surabaya, Batam, Banjarmasin, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Medan, Makassar and Lombok from two hubs in Jakarta and Surabaya. Target Citilink is to have 21 planes by the end of 2012, and 50 planes through 2015.
PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk has committed to add 30 units of Airbus A-320 for Citilink, given in stages starting in 2014-2018, each of which as many as 10 aircraft per year. Today, while waiting for the arrival of the aircraft - the new pesaawat, Citilink has gained several new aircraft in the form of leasing, as many as 15 aircraft. Our target, the end of 2012 Citilink has a total of 21 aircraft.
A strong commitment shown by Garuda Indonesia to always support business growth in Indonesia Citilink, ranging from the purchase of 50 new aircraft, new logo colors, as well as refresher and new branding; Citilink will become a new reliable player in the low cost airline service in the region.
