PERTAMINA is a Indonesian State Owned oil & gas company which has scope of business incorporates the upstream and downstream sectors. The objective company is to engage in oil and gas exploitation, domestically and overseas, as well as in other exploitation associated with or supporting oil and gas operations.

PERTAMINA (PERSERO) has a legal status to Persero since October 9, 2003. The company established on December 10, 1957 under the name PT PERMINA. In 1961 the company changed its name to PN PERMINA and after the merger with PN PERTAMIN in 1968 it became PN PERTAMINA. With the enactment of Law 8 of 1971 the company became PERTAMINA.

PT Pertamina Persero has a strategic operational subsidiary, namely: Pertamina Hulu Energi, Pertamina Geothermal Energy, Pertamina Gas, Pertamina EP Cepu, Pertamina EP, Pertamina Drilling Services.

The company headquarter is located in Jakarta and led by Karen Agustiawan as President Director.

For more than half a century, Pertamina has met the domestic demand for energy by managing integrated operations in the oil & gas and geothermal energy sector and has constantly strived to improve its operational and financial performance in order to contribute maximally to the Indonesian economy.
