Local Staff Recruitent for the Mission of Japan to ASEAN

The Mission of Japan to ASEAN in Jakarta is recruiting 1 (one) local staff for each position of Butler and Housekeeper. Anyone who is eligible is welcome to apply by sending the necessary documents not later than 9th December 2012.

1. Recruitment of Butler
(1) Job Specifications
  • Preparing and arranging table for dining.
  • Serving foods and managing dining.
  •  Managing local staffs working at the residence of the Ambassador of the Mission of Japan to ASEAN.
(2) Number of vacancy
1 (one)

(3) Qualification Requirements
  • Indonesian citizen or permanent resident of Indonesia.
  • Having experience related to food and drink industries.
  •  Having experience in serving foods.
  •  Capable of communicating in English.
2. Recruitment of Housekeeper
(1) Job Specifications
  • Cooking and Serving foods.
  • Maintaining the residence of the Ambassador of the Mission of Japan to ASEAN.
(2) Number of vacancy
1 (one)

(3) Qualification Requirements
  • Indonesian citizen or permanent resident of Indonesia.
  • Having experience related food and drink industries.

3. Terms of Employment
  • Working venue is the Mission of Japan to ASEAN office or Ambassador's residence.
  • Working hours are five days (40 hours) in a week (as a reference: 8.15—16.00 per day (lunch break: 12.30 – 13.15)).
  •  Salary will be decided based on the certain standards in Jakarta and will be paid in IDR which will be exchanged from USD.
  •  It is required to start working immediately after the contract is signed.

6. Selection Process
After receiving application documents, the Mission will select the candidates in the following procedures:
  • Those who pass the initial document screening will be asked to come to the Mission for a written test and an interview.
  • Considering the results of document screening and of the written test/interview, the Mission will select 1 (one) person for each position who is considered to be appropriate for a local staff of the Mission.
*Please note that the Mission of Japan will NOT contact those who cannot pass the initial document screening. The Mission will inform those who cannot pass the written test/interview of the result by email or by telephone.
