House Keeping Jobs Japan Embassy Jakarta

The Mission of Japan to ASEAN in Jakarta is recruiting 1 (one) local staff for house keeper position. Anyone who is eligible is welcome to apply by sending the necessary documents to the e-mail/postal address below not later than 6 March 2013.

Job Specifications
In general, all the works that are related to house keeping

Qualification Requirements
  • Indonesian citizen or permanent resident of Indonesia.
  • Have working experiences in similar filed.
  • Able to communicate in conversational English.
Terms of Employment
  • Working venue is the residence of Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN
  • Basic working hours are 5 days per week, within 40 hoursin a month (from 08:15 to 16:00, lunch break: 12:30 – 13:15)
  • Salary will be decided based on the candidate’s experiences and certain standards in Jakarta and will be paid in IDR which will be exchanged from USD.
  • Can start working immediately after the contract is signed.
  • Period for the submission of application till 6 March 2013

HOUSEBOY

Job Specifications
  • Assist Butler in his tasks: preparation for dining event, food serving, organize staffs’ tasks of Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN’s residence
  •  Assist Chef in cooking process
Qualification Requirements
  •  Indonesian citizen or permanent resident of Indonesia.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  •  Have experiences of waiter
  • Comprehension in table manner
  •  Have experiences in Japanese cooking is an additional asset

After receiving application documents, the Mission will select the candidates in the following procedures;
  • Those who pass the initial document screening will be invited to come to the Mission for an interview.
  • Considering the results of the interview, the Mission will select 1 (one) person who is considered appropriate to bea house keeper at the residence of Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN.
Please note that the Mission of Japan will NOT contact those who cannot pass the initial document screening. The Mission will inform those who cannot pass the interview of the result by e-mail or by telephone.

Indonesia and Japan are two Asian nations which share historical, economic, and political ties, which have grown especially close since World War II. Indonesia is Japanese vital supplier of natural resources such as liquid natural gas. Both countries are members of G20 and APEC. Study Advisor

Scope of Work / Tasks
  • Promote and provide consultancy study to Japan
  • Perform tasks related to the application and selection Japanese government scholarship
  • Perform the tasks associated with the Japan-Indonesia educational exchanges
Days and Hours of Work
5 days a week from 08:15 am ~ 16:00 (from 1 April to 08:30 ~ 16:30). If any educational exhibitions, willing to be assigned on a Saturday or Sunday, and also the possibility of out of town assignment.

Qualifying Applicants
  • Indonesian citizen graduates of minimal S-1, max 30 years old.
  • Having Japanese ability level Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 2 and above or English proficiency with TOEFL minimum score of 550.
  • Preferably with experience in school in Japan.

Selection Process
  • The selection process will be conducted in two phases, namely the selection of documents (phase 1) and a selection of interviews (phase 2).
  • The announcement that pass phase 1 will be announced around March 11, 2013 (Monday). For those who have not heard up to that date, meaning not pass the selection phase 1.
The second stage of selection will be announced to all participants of the exam until the date of March 15, 2013 (Friday).

1. 職務内容


在インドネシア日本国大使館において、草の根・人間の安全保障無償資金協力を中心とした経済協力業務。申請案件の受付、案件形成、実施管理、案件フォローアップ、関係機関・団体との調整、モニタリング等。

2. 応募資格
(1) インドネシア人であること。
(2) 日本語によるコミュニケーション・文書作成に支障がないこと。
(3) 開発・経済協力に関心を有し、在インドネシア日本国大使館にて勤務が可能であること。
(4) 大学卒業(学士)以上の学歴を有すること。
(5) WordやExcel等の操作が可能であること。

3. 勤務条件
(1) 謝金は当地での一定の基準に基づき、米ドルにより支払われます。当該業務に関する専門性が認められる場合には、加算される場合があります。
(2) 勤務期間は1年間(3ヶ月の試用期間あり)としますが、実績及び本人の希望により、さらに2年間延長できる可能性があります。
(3) 勤務時間は月曜日から金曜日(当館休館日を除く)で、各日8:15から16:00(12:30から13:15までは昼休み)に館内で勤務することを原則とする。ただし、その他にインドネシア各地に出張し、調査を依頼することがある。
(4) 住居費、交通費、保険料等は謝金に含まれる。
(5) 勤務開始は1月下旬以降を想定しています。

3. Terms of Employment
  • Working venue is the Mission of Japan to ASEAN office or Ambassador's residence.
  • Working hours are five days (40 hours) in a week (as a reference: 8.15—16.00 per day (lunch break: 12.30 – 13.15)).
  •  Salary will be decided based on the certain standards in Jakarta and will be paid in IDR which will be exchanged from USD.
  •  It is required to start working immediately after the contract is signed.
