Facebook Malaysia is seeking full-time software engineers to join the Mobile team. As a Facebook Mobile software engineer, you will specialize in optimizing the efficiency and reliability of the Facebook experience of hundreds of millions of users. You will work with world-class technologies and focus on finding innovative ways to make that technology stack better, more efficient, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Understand, instrument, and optimize the web and/or application experience of hundreds of mobile devices
• Suggest new approaches to hard problems at the core of a high quality mobile product experience
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologies for our mobile platform
• Work with mobile operators and handset manufacturers to create the best Facebook experience on any phone

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
• Experience in developing native mobile apps, ideally in J2ME and C/C++
• Experience building software that integrates with the web
